D1 Discuss The Client Considerations For The Creation Of The Product From The Pitch

Following my powerpoint the client gave me a number of points that I need to consider,

A main point that he mentioned was making a website for my magazine, the client questioned the web link, this is because as I placed the link at the bottom of my front page it would be really effective as it would not only be good for advertising but also amazing for beating competitors as all teenagers own phones and have easy access to the internet, they can easily gain access to all my information, this was a very interesting valid point that he made one I will want to expand on in the future,

However a point that I felt was not effective was when the client questioned the pricing of my magazine, my main price I  had placed was 1 pound and he told me that It would have been really cheap and that it would be bad as I would not be making money over time, I disagree and agree with this as I feel that it would be quite cheap to produce as my main focus was to target and find upcoming rap artists who want to get their name known, I feel that I would get lots of easy access to interveiws from the rappers which would help me get lots of easy interesting content, Another point of having the price low is that it would help me break into the gap in the market.

Another Idea that the client brought forward was asking me if I can get all the content and that I should think if I can gain access to all the rappers and have interviews, I agree with this point and I had to make sure that if I am bringing my magazine out weekly I would have to work hard to get the required content, I will listen to this point when I furuther develop my magazine and will hange my magazine to every 2 weeks, this would be more effective as my content would not be rushed and I would have more time to get more interveiews about venues, songs, albums etc.

The client recommended that I shoud change the colour of my main title becuase it had a completelty different colour to everything else in my magazine and because it was white it looked like very different he recommended that it did not link and connote to rap, I completely agree'd with this part of the feedback because this is the main thing that attracts customers and represents my genre, I feel like this is one of the points I will work on as I want my magazine to have a nice flow to it and everything to be effective as possible, the client made me think that white doesnt represent Rap and grime in general, So as i continue developing my magazine in the future this would be a main thing that I change and think about.

Another point that the client brought forward was that if a normal teenager were to walk into the store a pick my magazine up would they know that the (NLDN) means that my magazine is representing and talking about North London, I agree with this point a lot and it is very useful to me because this is a main thing I will change because what is the point of producing all this content if I'm not even attracting the right customers.

Overall, after receiving lots of interesting and constructive feedback, I have used this to help me change up the way I will get my information and also how effective the main title and image is on my magazine, there are lots of things that he said which will help me in development with my magazine in the future.
